Russian space cargo ship blasts off for International Space Station

Moscow, Ramadan 19, 1438, June 14, 2017, SPA -- A Russian space cargo ship carrying about 2.5 tonnes of supplies blasted off Wednesday for the International Space Station. The Progress-class ship was launched from the Russian-operated Baikonur spaceport in the former Soviet, Central Asian nation of Kazakhstan, Russian space agency Roscosmos said in a statement, according to dpa. The ship was scheduled to arrive at the station in two days, with the docking guided by Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin.
