Istanbul, Jumada II 24, 1436, April 13, 2015, SPA -- Fighting has broken out between the Turkish army and Kurdish militants in the south-east, both sides reported Monday. The latest exchange of fire between soldiers and the armed wing of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) took place in Hakkari, near the border with Iraq, dpa reported. Over the weekend, one Kurdish civilian and one PKK fighter were killed in clashes, according to Kurdish sources.
