New Delhi, Ramadan 27, 1435, Jul 24, 2014, SPA -- At least 16 children and a driver were killed and many others injured when a train hit a school bus in southern India on Thursday, dpa cited officials as saying. Some media reports said at least 20 people had been killed in the accident at an unmanned railway crossing in the Medak district of Telangana state. "Twelve children and the driver died at the scene while four more children died at hospitals," a district official said on condition of anonymity. The dead children were between the ages of 6 and 16 years. The bus was carrying 35 children and a driver.
