Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 7, 1435, Sep 2, 2014, SPA -- In reference to the statement issued by the Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior; and in enforcement of the Royal Order No. 16820 dated 05/05/1435H which identified extremist intellectual parties or religious groups - including those that can be identified as such - and those that are locally, regionally or internationally classified as terrorist organizations; and in holding accountable whoever belongs to, supports, adopts the ideology of, expresses in any means sympathy for, promotes in any form - materially or morally - the cause of, endorses or encourages verbally or in writing such acts of such groups; and given the painful atmosphere our region is currently undergoing which has given the chance to advocates of sedition to circulate their extreme views and lure the society's youth, dragging them to places of sedition; in lieu of all these factors, the competent security authorities have for months followed-up all suspects, especially those who have had previous links to extremist ideologies. Unfortunately, some of those - who had completed their sentences or had been released by court orders - have returned to their previous practice.
