United Nations, Dhu-AlQa'dah 2, 1435, Aug 28, 2014, SPA -- Afghanistan’s U.N. representative told President Hamid Karzai Thursday that it was “not possible” to finish an audit of a disputed election by September 2, when Karzai had hoped to see a new leader inaugurated, the president’s office said. The United Nations is supervising the audit of votes from a run-off ballot between the two candidates, Abdullah Abdullah and Ashraf Ghani.
