New York, Sha'ban 17, 1435, Jun 15, 2014, SPA -- The United Arab Emirates last night stressed the continuing development of its national policies, legislative systems and operational procedures aimed to combat acts of terrorism in all forms and manifestations. During his participation in the Fourth Review of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy, Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi, a member of the U.A.E.'s delegation participating in the review, said that terrorism today is the greatest threat to international peace and security, regardless of the time and place. During the discussion, which takes place every two years, Al Shamsi reviewed the efforts made by the U.A.E. to keep up with the global war on terrorism, noting that the country has continued to develop its national policies to combat all kinds of terrorism and other related phenomena.
