He pointed out that Iran had trained and managed the cell that attacked Khobar Towers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1996 and that the reason for imposing sanctions on Iran is its human rights violations, adding, "We will continue to confront Iranian regime's practices in all available fields with our allies in Arab and Islamic world and in the West until Iran changes its behavior." The Minister of Foreign Affairs noted that challenges facing Syria, Yemen and Libya would be overcome, saying "We see that Iraq has become stronger and received much support from the international community to reconstruct Iraq. On Yemeni affairs, he said, "Houthi militias have become isolated after the assassination of President Saleh and Yemeni political parties have united to form a single bloc to isolate Houthis, indicating that the legitimate government is progressing gradually, not less than what is happening in the battlefield.
