New York, June 1, 2019, SPA -- The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Al-Mouallimi, met here yesterday evening with the Director of the Representative Office in New York to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Peter Mullerin. During the meeting, the Director of the UNRWA office thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its generous support for UNRWA, which reflects the KSA's interest in this issue . He reviewed the Agency's financial crisis and its impact on the efforts and services being provided to Palestinian refugees in the camps. Ambassador Al-Mouallimi stressed that the Palestinian cause topped the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's concern, pointing out that the KSA is always keen to provide everything that would help the United Nations agencies to serve the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people throughout the world.
