Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Reiterates its Rejection of any Unilateral Actions by Israel

Riyadh, May 23, 2020, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia exerted a great efforts in countering the Coronavirus and preventing its spread, in addition to proactive diagnosis and treatment for all citizens and residents alike, including residents who violate residency requirements. The paper said that the Ministry of Health has been implementing continuous and simultaneous awareness campaigns in a number of commercial centers, with the participation of a number of volunteer teams and specialists. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Israeli measures to annex lands in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and imposing illegal sovereignty over them are described as violation of international law, United Nations resolutions and international and humanitarian covenants. In this regard, the paper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has reiterated its rejection of any unilateral actions by Israel, expressing it condemnation of violations of international legitimacy resolutions and all that might undermine the chances of resuming the peace process to achieve comprehensive security and stability.
