Geneva, December 9, 2019, SPA -- The 33rd International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent began today in Geneva, and will continue until December 12, 2019. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the Conference is headed by the President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Qasem. This year's 33rd International Conference coincides with the 70th anniversary of the adoption of 1949 Geneva Conventions, which are universally ratified.
