Cairo, Jun 15, 2019, SPA -- The Pan-Arab Parliament Office held here today a meeting chaired by its speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, in the presence of the deputies of the speaker and the heads of standing committees in the parliament. Al-Salami said in a statement issued here today, following the meeting, that the Arab Parliament Office discussed, a number of important issues, especially the developments in some Arab countries and serious developments facing the Arab national security, pointing out that the Arab Parliament Office approved a number of draft resolutions and referred them to its committees for further discussion. These resolutions will be presented to the plenary session of the Arab Parliament, later on, which will be held next Wednesday, including a draft resolution on the terrorist attacks on civilian facilities, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commercial vessels, in the territorial waters of the United Arab Emirates, and a draft resolution on the latest developments, in Yemen. The parliament office reviewed the outcomes of the two emergency Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab summits and valued the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for calling for the two summits to convene, in Makkah, in the last Ramadan, noting that the two summits have managed to unify Arab stances, in order to protect Pan-Arab national security and to confront imminent challenges facing the Arab world. --SPA 22:00 LOCAL TIME 19:00 GMT 0011 www.spa.gov.sa/w1119928
