Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa delivered a speech expressing his happiness at the meeting, which reflects the Islamic determination to combat the scourge of terrorism and indicating that the Islamic religion is a pure divine message. In his speech, MWL Secretary-General pointed out that the understanding of the intellectual ideology within the Alliance's missions is an important element in defeating the terrorism and eradicating it from its roots, stressing that this is the real bet and the ultimate goal being sought by all mankind and the countries of this alliance in particular. He also pointed out that the terrorism was not based on political and military entities but on extremist ideology as the historical facts and the scientific record of the Islamic heritage prove that Islam welcomed all meanings of peace until it has become a major part of its teachings and an important word of its dictionary.
