Conference of States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption's 7th Session Kicked off, in Austria

Vienna, Safar 18, 1439, Nov 7, 2017, SPA -- The 7th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, held in Austria, with participation of representatives of states parties to the United Nations Convention and a number of international organizations specialized in transparency, protection of integrity and combating corruption. The delegation of the Kingdom is headed by the Deputy Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission for the Protection of Integrity Dr Bandar bin Ahmed Abalakhail and the membership of representatives from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Education. In his address, Abalkhail expressed thanks and appreciation of the state of Austria for hosting the conference and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for its efforts with States parties to Since its establishment, Saudi Arabia has done everything to prevent corruption and fight it domestically and internationally, Abalkhail said, citing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz's statement that: "the Kingdom does not give immunity to anyone, in cases of corruption."
