In a bona fide thriller at Portman Road, Ipswich lead Blackburn 4-3 courtesy of Massimo Luongo’s strike in the 79th minute. Who knew Troy Deeney played for Forest Green? It’s a move that passed me by but he’s just scored a hat-trick for the League Two side but his efforts might be in vain. His side trail Notts County by the odd goal in seven. Championship: Republic of Ireland striker Adam Idah scores whaqt is almost certainly going to be a consolation goal for Norwich City, who now trail Plymouth 5-1 at Home Park. Luton 1-1 Wolves (Morris 65pen) Premier League: Carlton Morris scores from 12 yards to restore parity for Luton, who were somewhat fortunate to get a penalty after Joao Gomes was penalised for handball in the kind of ridiculous circumstances we’ve come to expect – the ball deflected off Gomes’s foot and then skimmed his outstretched arm, which was over his head. It should have been overturned by VAR but it wasn’t. Championship: Plymouth Argyle are now 5-0 up against Norwich City, who are having a shocking day at the office. Morgan Whittaker has scored his third goal of the afternoon for the hosts at Home Park. Red card! Man City are down to 10 men Manchester City 2-0 Nottingham Forest: Rodri has been given his marching orders by referee Anthony Taylor for pushing Morgan Gibbs-White to the ground a few moments after the Nottingham Forest midfielder had tackled him. Gibbs-White went to ground quite theatrically after being shoved in the throat. An email: “I went back and counted, and Foden’s goal came at the end of a 47-pass move,” writes Allan Castle. “The first quarter of that match possibly the most one-sided I can recall. And Forest are a decent, well-coached side! The league looks done and dusted; the only real question mark is whether City can match the Invincibles.” Bundesliga: Bayern Munich are 5-0 up with about 25 minutes of their match against Bochum to go. Harry Kane has scored two in that game, bringing his tally for the season to eight goals in as many starts for his new club. Wolves down to 10 men Premier League: Having impressed on his debut for Wolves last weekend against Liverpool, Jeanricner Bellegarde has got himself sent off in their match against Luton. He kicked out at Tom Lockyer, catching the Luton defender in his crown jewels, after the pair went down in a tangle near the halfway line. It’s a daft foul and he has to go.
