Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired the cabinet session held in Jeddah on Tuesday. During the session, the cabinet reviewed the outcomes of recent discussions and meetings between the Kingdom and various countries and organizations. The focus was on strengthening friendship ties, bilateral and multilateral cooperation across all sectors, particularly in international security and stability, and advancing principles of development, progress, and cultural enrichment. The cabinet also monitored regional and international developments, reaffirming the Kingdom"s stance as expressed in its participation at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) meetings. This includes emphasizing efforts towards an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, pursuing a just and lasting peace, and supporting the Palestinian people in achieving their legitimate rights to establish an internationally recognized independent state. Following the Cabinet session, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary stated to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the Cabinet addressed local affairs, focusing on ongoing programs and initiatives aimed at current development and future preparedness. This includes enhancing infrastructure, improving service quality for citizens and residents, developing promising sectors, advancing telecommunications technologies, attracting investments, and boosting national industries. Furthermore, the cabinet applauded efforts to increase the involvement of Saudi youth in development initiatives, empower the labor market to accommodate more national workers, and reduce the unemployment rate, nearing the target set by Saudi Vision 2030 of 7 percent. The cabinet also reviewed its agenda items, some of which were jointly studied with the Shoura Council, and was briefed on conclusions from the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the Council for Political and Security Affairs, the Cabinet"s General Committee, and the Cabinet"s Bureau of Experts.
