The visit to the Kingdom is Al-Sharaa’s first foreign trip since taking office RIYADH: Syrian Arab Republic President Ahmed Al-Sharaa on Monday performed Umrah during a visit to the Kingdom. The leader arrived in Riyadh on Sunday and met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, discussing ways to support the security and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic. On Monday, Al-Sharaa visited the headquarters of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh, before heading to Makkah. The visit is Al-Sharaa’s first foreign trip since taking office.
