Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense, President of the Council of Economic Affairs and Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has met separately here on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative with Chief Executive Officer of Philips Company Frans van Houten, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Company Nobuyuki Hirano and Chairman of Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock Company Larry Fink. During the meetings, they reviewed investment opportunities in the Kingdom in line with its vision 2030 and coordinating areas of the future partnership available in the Kingdom. The Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh aimed at highlighting the country’s efforts to overhaul its economy and society to rid itself of its dependence on oil. In a different matter, Prince Mohammed met with Pier Carlo Padoan, Minister of Economy and Finance of Italy. The two parties discussed the most important economic issues between the Kingdom and Italy in the fields of investment and trade.
