The conference discussed the most important challenges facing the Arab and Islamic cultural identity JEDDAH: The secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousuf bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, chaired the OIC delegation to the extraordinary Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers, which was held under the patronage of Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. Participants celebrated the Bahrain city of Muharraq as the capital of Islamic culture. The conference discussed the most important challenges facing the Arab and Islamic cultural identity, calling for the humanitarian message of Islam to be conveyed to the whole world with special attention to thought and culture.
