Nabil Mohammed Elwani is the strategy and operational excellence vice president in the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s Diplomatic Quarter office. Prior to joining the commission (formerly the Diplomatic Quarter General Authority), he was a partner at management and financial consulting firm United Consulting Group from September 2016 to April 2019. Between February 2007 and March 2009, he was the senior relationship manager for private banking with the Samba Financial Group and from 2004 to 2007 was a senior financial analyst in private banking for the National Commercial Bank’s planning and strategies unit. Before that, he spent a year from 2003 working as a logistics specialist at the Saudi Import Co. in Jeddah. Elwani gained a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, in 2003, a master’s degree in accounting from Ohio State University, in 2011, and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. specializing in information science and finance from the University of North Texas, in 2016. He is also a certified key performance indicator professional and practitioner and obtained a mini-master’s degree in business administration for small and medium-sized enterprises’ growth from Babson College in collaboration with Prince Mohammed bin Salman College, and Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership in King Abdullah Economic City. He is certified as an Institute for Financial Research financial assistant, and an Academy of Financial Management private equity specialist, while being chartered as a market analyst, portfolio manager, and master financial professional, with the same academy.
