On its part, the Makkah-based Al-Nadwa said Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, has highlighted the significance of the Arab Quartet Summit, held last week in Riyadh, and said it will positively contribute to clearing the Arab atmosphere and serving the Arab interests. The daily noted that Prince Saud Al-Faisal has expressed appreciation for the support of Iran to the Arab causes provided that the support comes through the Arab legitimacy and in line with its goals and stands. The paper noted that the talks of Prince Saud Al-Faisal with his Iranian Counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki were 'plain and frank'. It said Prince Saud Al-Faisal believes that the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Sudanese President Al-Basheer will further complicate the crisis of Darfur. The call of Prince Saud Al-Faisal to the international community to shoulder its responsibility as regards enhancing security and peace in Sudan reflects the danger of the decision of the ICC against Al-Basheer who is supported by his people and who is working to bring about peace in his country.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/644794
