Saudi Press hails King's appeal for unity of Arab and Palestinian ranks

Riyadh, February 02, SPA -- Saudi newspapers affirmed Monday that the speech delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at Kuwait economic summit will generate reverberations at the short and long terms because it had laid a solid base for a reform Arab stance. The appeal of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at Kuwait was a call for uniting the Arab and Palestinians ranks, and that his speech emanated from a sincere heart for the good of the Ummah (nation), the papers said. The papers said what was said by the King was stemmed from his religion, and the national duty and the Arab magnanimity. The papers noted that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has attributed his success in projecting the problems of the Arab nation in a right perspective through the blessings of Allah Almighty and the existing coherence between the leadership and the people.
