The Dammam-based Al-Yaum said irrespective of the outcome of the forthcoming Israeli elections, the Arabs and Palestinians are facing dangerous challenges. "There seems to be no other way for the Palestinians but to join their ranks and to speak with one voice so as to face Israel," said the paper, adding that the Arab peace initiative stipulates peace-for-land principle and it is hoped that the Palestinians will not pay more price. On the other hand, the Riyadh-based al-Jazeera said the new US President Barack Obama has been doing his best "to whiten the face of America". The daily noted that Obama is focusing his attention on solving economic crisis in his country because the economic crisis is a matter of a great anxiety for the American citizens.
