SRINAGAR, India, May 17, SPA -- The army says six rebels wereKilled in a clash between security forces and suspectedinsurgents in Indian-controlled Kashmir. The Associated Press quoted Indian army spokesman Lt. Col. Anil Kumar Mathur as saying that the rebels were killed Saturday after army and police sealed off a forested area in Lurgam village following a tip-offthat they were hiding there.
