Al-Atiyyah hails Saudi Cabinet's decision on GCC citizens' employment

Riyadh, September 16, SPA -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul-Rahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah has hailed the consent of the Saudi Council of Ministers during its meeting held last night on the application of full equality between citizens of the GCC member states in the field of employment in the government sector. This comes as an implementation of the decision of the GCC Supreme Council during its 23rd session, which was held in Doha, Qatar. Al-Atiyyah expressed his great pride of the efforts that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud and the other GCC leaders are exerting in order to achieve Gulf citizenship in all its dimensions and to apply the decisions of the Supreme Council of the GCC in reality. He said that this reflects the GCC leaders' sincere support to the joint work between the Council's member states to achieve progress and prosperity for these countries and their citizens.
