Saudi Press expresses optimism over success of summit 3 Riyadh

On the other hand, the Makkah-based "Al-Nadwah" newspaper stressed under the title 'Free Arab Determination' said Arab, Muslim and other world countries were looking toward Riyadh today where the 19th Arab summit starts its in-depth discussions on vital Arab issues and causes. The paper added that attention paid to the summit emanates from hot topics on its agenda. It noted that the causes of Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia and Darfur represented major challenges, stressing that all were waiting for decisive resolutions and firm Arab stands to manifest truly the joint vision and to trespass difficulties. Al-Nadwah concluded that the Arab march, thanks to Allah, heralds that an agreement and unity of stands will be reached. It also said that this summit would be one of the most successful summits till now since it is convened on solid ground strengthened by consultations and coordination among Arab leaders till the last moment and that reflected the Arab independent determination.--MORE www.spa.gov.sa/436207
