On the other hand, Al-Madinah daily newspaper said the convening of the 19th Arab summit in Riyadh heralds good news that Arab solidarity witnesses a new phase in its march to realize its aims and open a new page in history, as was indicated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulaziz, in his speech at the Council of Ministers' session on Monday evening. It added that the Riyadh summit is a clear manifestation for the Arab determination, more than at any time in the past, to confront political, economic and cultural challenges facing the Arab homeland, in addition to dealing with world powers with understanding and at the same level. This in fact reiterates that the nation is sticking to its stands and principles, rejecting compromise on its solid main causes which were endorsed at Beirut's summit five years ago without amendments or any change. Meanwhile, the Jeddah-based Okaz newspaper said that all hopes were pinned on Riyadh's summit, since millions of Arabs were looking at it as a fateful summit which is held in a critical and serious phase of the Arab history.
