ISLAMABAD, SEPT 15, SPA – President General Pervez Musharraf meets U.S. President George W. Bush at the White House on September 22. The two leaders will review developments across the spectrum of US-Pakistan strategic partnership. They will review progress in bilateral cooperation in a host of areas also including energy, education, science and technology, economic development, counter-terrorism. A Pakistan Foreign Ministry statement said that Musharraf’s meeting with Bush would move forward the process of regular high-level consultations between the two leaders. Musharraf’s engagements will also include meetings with Vice President Dick Cheney in Washington and Secretary of State Dr Condoleezza Rice in New York. Musharraf will interact with members of US Congress representing both sides of the aisle at a luncheon meeting on the Capitol Hill.
