Peshawar, Pakistan, Sept 25, SPA -- Pakistan's Prime Ministerannounced on Saturday the lifting of economic sanctions ina tense tribal region near Afghanistan to win its help intracking down foreign militants and those who shelter them. "We are lifting these economic sanctions for developmentin South Waziristan," Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said ina meeting Saturday with more than 500 elders from varioustribes in the northwestern city of Peshawar. "We hope youwill help us in evicting foreign elements."
