BAGHDAD, Iraq, Jan 9, SPA -- A U.S. soldier assigned to the TaskForce Baghdad was killed Sunday in a roadside bomb explosion, the military said. The soldier was killed at about 9 a.m after his patrolstruck the device, the military said. The name of thesoldier was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
