Aden, Dec 21, 2021, SPA – King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) yesterday inaugurated a project to support food security for 2021-2022 in the Aden governorate of Yemen. The project targets distributing 12,300 food baskets over six phases in Al-Bariqah, Al-Sheikh Othman and Dar Saad districts to benefit 2,050 families in each phase. KSrelief Branch Director in Aden Saleh Al-Thibani said that the distribution process also targets the most vulnerable families that are within the 4th phase of the classification of lacking food security, citing the project as part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s permanent support to meet the needs of Yemeni people and alleviate their suffering. Undersecretary of Aden governorate for Development Affairs Adnan Al-Kaf praised the efforts of KSrelief in meeting the food needs of the needy categories in Aden, stressing that KSrelief projects covered all vital sectors.
