Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Harnesses All Capabilities to Serve Pilgrims

Riyadh, July 18, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspaper highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia always been keen to provide the highest level of care for pilgrims since the era of the late founder till this prosperous era under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. The paper pointed to the comprehensive and integrated strategies and plans that have been adopted in order to ensure the safety security of the pilgrims, using the latest technology. Additionally, the first batch of pilgrims arrived on Saturday at the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah to perform Tawaf Al-Qudum (Tawaf of Arrival) amid an integrated system of services and precautionary measure. All this affirms the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ability to serve and protect all pilgrims in different circumstances and crises. In another context, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a long history of providing humanitarian assistance for Islamic and Arab nations, since this is a consistent approach in the government’s strategies since the country's unification by its founder and until this prosperous era. The paper added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian aid reached most of the countries around the world. For instance, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directed King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) to urgently support the Republic of Tunisia with medical and preventive equipment and supplies to contribute to overcoming the effects of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). This came in response to the request of the Tunisian President Kais Saied. In this regard, the Tunisian Minister of Health praised this aid, noting that Saudi Arabia spares no effort to support and help other countries in their crises.
