Geneva, Ramadan 17, 1439, Jun 1, 2018, SPA -- Director-General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Gay Ryder has praised the Kingdom for issuing a special anti-harassment system. During a meeting with Minister of Labor and Social Development Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafees here on Thursday, on the sidelines of the International Labor Conference, he said that ILO wants to learn about the experience of the Kingdom, in enacting an anti-harassment system and aspects of the control of harassment, in the realm of labor. The minister and the director co-signed a work program agreement to develop the effectiveness of the ministry through programs, in cooperation with the organization's experts in three main areas: empowering women's work, preparing a national policy on discrimination related to employment and occupation and to strengthen the mechanisms of social dialogue, in addition to benefiting from the technical expertise of the ILO, in these areas, to support the achievement of the objectives of the ministry, to meet the vision of the Kingdom of 2030 objectives and its national transformation program.
