Jeddah, Nov. 07, 2019, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, held here today, a meeting with Sheikh Rawi Ainuddin, Chairman of the Council of Muftis and Head of the Religious Department of Muslims of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, Sheikh Rawi Ainuddin conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to the Secretary General and the desire of the Russian leadership to develop and strengthen relations with the Islamic world. They discussed topics related to broadening the horizons of cooperation between Russia and the (OIC) in the intellectual, cultural, media and other fields.
