The Yemeni president sent a message to the Yemeni people, saying: "I'm addressing our patient, struggler and great Yemeni people, who bear the burdens of war, the intransigence and arrogance of militias and their unjust siege, those militias who seized the people's right of a decent life like the rest of the peoples of the world, occupied the cities, institutions and civilians, killed children, women and elders and bombed the safe residential communities with heavy artillery and took control of the state's resources even the oil and gas, as well as all other causes of life, using it as a dirty means to humiliate our people. No doubt that people who practiced such difficult circumstances with patience, constancy and faith is a great and victorious people, and its unique and legendary resistance in the face of these militias and its allies and its agents will be written by letters of light in history. As a leadership of this country, it hurts us to see our country under siege of a coup by militias and their supporters, we are saddened of children's concern, woman, elders and adults moaning and questions of young people about the future, it also hurts us to see masses of exodus from cities that turned to ghosts by the militias, and it hurts us to see the cities once capitals of science, culture and civic life turned by those savage forces and obscurantism to shanties after being bombed and abandoned by their residents, it hurts us to see the queues of citizens searching for opportunities of life under the guerrilla of death, it hurts us to watch our people who are either stranded in airports and capitals or displaced in camps. However, we promise you, despite all of this, that the breakthrough and victory will be soon, God willing, and that the fate of barbarism is nothing but dustbin of history. Our country will win. Our country will return glorious and triumphant. The brightness of Aden, the culture of Taiz, the bravery of Al-Dali, civilization of Maareb, and the history of Sanaa will make a comeback and prevail. We are going to bow and pay homage to this great nation and its resistance against the heroine, we are going to bow to its great youngsters and adults. I say to the people of the south, trust, that we will never allow wrapping or detracting from the fairness of the southern issue and its centrality. Let me repeat what I said in my previous speech, addressing the champions of resistance in Aden, Taiz, Dali, Marib, Abyan, Shabwa and Al-Baidha that your sacrifices will not go in vain". --More 20:41 LOCAL TIME 17:41 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
