Ouagadougou, January 30, 2020, SPA -- President of Burkina Faso Roch Marc Christian Kaboré received here yesterday Speaker of Saudi Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 15th Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Member States (PUIC). At the outset of the meeting, the President welcomed the Speaker of Saudi Shura Council, sending his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, expressing his thanks to the Kingdom for its support for Burkina Faso's government and people. For his part, Sheikh Dr. Al Al-Sheikh conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince to the President and people of Burkina Faso, stressing the Saudi leadership's keenness on strengthening bilateral relations. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and a number of issues of common concern.
