The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stressed its readiness to be a global partner in building "Economic Belt for Silk Road" and "Maritime Silk Road in the 21st century" and a main pole in west Asia. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supports China's hosting of "Belt and Road" Forum for international cooperation. The two sides expressed keenness on raising level of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, including supplies of the Saudi oil for the Chinese growing market. The two sides stressed importance of stability of the oil market for the global economy. The Chinese side appreciates the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is a safe and reliable source providing the world market with oil, to ensure stability of the international oil market. They agreed to strengthen international economic cooperation and develop international trade within framework of Group of 20 (G-20) and financial and international institutions. The two sides hailed an expected role of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The two sides agreed to exert joint efforts in collaboration with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to accelerate establishment of the Chinese-GCC free trade zone. The two countries expressed condemnation of extremism and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, stressing that terrorism has not linkage with any race or religion. The two sides will cooperate in the fight against extremism and terrorism.
