A joint statement issued at conclusion of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques's visit to Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Jumada II 02, 1438, March 01, 2017, SPA -- At the conclusion of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's visit to Malaysia, the following joint statement issued today. At the invitation of King of Malaysia Sultan Mohammed V, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud paid a visit to Malaysia from Sunday 29 Jumada I to Wednesday, 2 Jumada II 1438 AH corresponding to February 26 to March 1, 2017 AD. The King of Malaysia received the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at the Royal Palace and decorated him with First Royal State Medal (Medal of Crown). The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Prime Minister of Malaysia Dato Sri Mohamed Najib Abdul Razak held constructive and fruitful talks during which they exchanged views on ways of developing bilateral relations and intensifying cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, cultural, military and security fields, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest. The two sides agreed that the exchange of visits between the two countries at all levels would contribute to the development of bilateral relations, and agreed to intensify communication and cooperation between government officials and the private sectors in both countries to deepen and expand bilateral relations. The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening and enhancing trade relations between the two countries and cooperation in the areas of investment and exploring available opportunities in the light of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 AD.
