Tokyo, 04 Dhu-AlHijjah,1437 AH, 06 September,2016 , SPA -- Typhoon "Malou" was approaching islands in Japan's south Tuesday, and had already brought strong winds and heavy downpours to parts of the region, weather authorities said, dpa reported. The Japan Meteorological Agency warned of high waves and flooding as the season's 13th typhoon moved toward Okinawa and Amami Oshima islands. The typhoon was expected to produce waves of up to six metres around the region.
