Jeddah, Mar 3, 2019, SPA -- Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Health, affirmed that the 4th Global Ministerial Patient Safety Summit 2019, which began here yesterday, plays a global pioneering role in promoting and supporting the patient safety, particularly in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC). In a key speech at the closing session of the summit, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), has provided assistance worth about $675 million since 2015 until today to support the humanitarian action and projects of health, water, environmental sanitation and nutrition to the needy countries.
