Saudi Press Agency and University of Tabuk sign agreement on coordinating efforts to achieve joint objectives of the Kingdom's vision 2030

Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, Dhu-AlQa'dah 03, 1439, July 16, 2018, SPA -- President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Mr. Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein and the President of the University of Tabuk (UOT) Dr. Abdullah bin Mifreh Al-Ziyabi signed a cooperation agreement between SPA and the UOT in Tabuk today. The agreement is based on the importance of the concept of joint cooperation between the Kingdom's universities and media institutions to coordinate efforts to achieve the joint goals according to the Kingdom's vision 2030 in addition to the bilateral relations in their respective professions. In a statement following the signing ceremony, Al-Hussein said the agreement would contribute to casting light on the scientific achievements reached by or the activities organized or shared by the university as SPA enjoys great capabilities in the field media coverage in addition to cooperation in the field of human resources development, organizing training courses, and providing training courses in the field of news editing, reporting and translating for UOT undergraduates. For his part, Dr. Al-Ziyabi underscored the importance of the agreement which comes as part of the continuing coordination and cooperation among governmental entities to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's vision 2030, noting that cooperation with SPA would enhance the mission of the university, as SPA is a reliable source of media output, citing its accumulative experience of dealing with the world media in different languages and through several windows.
