Deputy Crown Prince chairs GCC defense ministers meeting in Riyadh

Riyadh, Safar 15, 1438, November 15, 2016, SPA -- Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, confirmed that everybody in the GCC zone is gearing forward to see the march of the member states of the group pushed forward, noting that the military and defense field is considered one of the most important ones amid the current challenges facing the region. Addressing the meeting, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said the current circumstances necessitate for all of us to work in a decisive, dedicated and prompt way to benefit from our previous lessons in confronting the situation. This came during chairing the 15th session of the GCC defense ministers conference whereas he conveyed to them the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, wishing the meeting every success and the GCC countries steady progress. He said he is looking forward to see a thorough discussion of all topics on the agenda that would put the GCC countries on a launching platform to an open horizon of successes. I also hope that the outcome of Camp David meeting which included enhancement of military and security strategic partnership with the United States of America to achieve the stability of the Gulf region be discussed.
