In his speech, the President of the Human Rights Commission highlighted the suffering of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation as well as the suffering of the Syrian people. He underlined Saudi aid to the Syrians and mentioned acts of aggression by the Houthi militias and Salih in Yemen as well as Saudi aid to Yemenis. He noted Saudi efforts in the field of combating terrorism. He said that the protection of human rights requires fighting crimes of hatred, racism and contempt of religions, beliefs and their symbols.
