The council affirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in confrontation of Iranian hostilities and provocations, and supported the Saudi efforts to fight terrorism, and the Kingdom's role in promoting security and stability of the region. The council condemned the continuing Iranian government interference in the internal affairs of the Arab countries over the past decades, stressing that this approach leads to undermining security and stability in the Gulf region, and considering it as a violation of the international law and the principle of good neighborliness as well. The council called on Iran to refrain from provocative acts and hostile statements that would undermine and threaten the security and stability of the region, denouncing the Iranian continuing occupation of the three United Arab Emirates (UAE) islands "Tunb Al-Kubra, Tunb Al-Sughra and Abu Musa,". It emphasized the full sovereignty of the UAE over the three islands and announced its support for all peaceful measures taken by the UAE to restore its sovereignty over the occupied islands according to international law. The council also condemned Iran's continuing interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Iranian support for groups which pose serious threats to Bahraini security and stability, denouncing Iranian interference in the Syrian crisis and the serious implications of this interference on the future of Syria and its security, stability, national unity and territorial integrity. The council condemned Iran's interventions in the Yemeni internal affairs through Iranian support for the anti-legitimate forces hostile to the Yemeni government and its negative impact on the security and stability of Yemen, the neighboring countries and the region in general.
