Speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Khalid Marghalani said the health situation of pilgrims is quite satisfying as no epidemic or quarantine cases reported and no corona virus case recorded. He added that the health ministry provided integrated system of health, preventive and emergency services with workforce reaching more than 22,000 and 800 cadres in addition to a package of preventive and curative programs to provide medical and therapeutic service to pilgrims. Dr. Marghalani added that field medical and emergency services in this season are supported with 100 small cars, pointing out that the medical field services began duties today and will accompany the pilgrims from Mina to Arafat and also when they return (Nafrah) from Arafat to Muzdalifah in addition to their back to Mina. He added that the health ministry provided 29 hospitals in Makkah, Madinah and the holy sites (Mina and Arafat) for the services of the pilgrims. The spokesman of the health ministry stressed that there is, for the first time, a mobile laboratory of third-degree or third level.
