Mina, Dhu-AlHijjah 08, 1435, October 02, 2014, SPA -- Major General Mansour Al-Turki, Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, announced today that the security plan accompaying the ascending of pilgrims to Mina, a major holy site of the journey to the peak of Hajj in Arafat, was successful. In his first daily joint press conference held at Mina valley this year, Al-Turki said pilgrims who started thier journey to Mina following the dawn prayer today have safely arrived in the site, one step towards the peak of Hajj, which falls tomorrow. He said everything went smoothly, citing traffic and security.
