Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Continues Providing its Humanitarian Works for All Peoples in World

Riyadh, July 29, 2021, SPA -- Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues its humanitarian works under directives of the wise leadership and its unremitting support to serve all peoples. These humanitarian works include providing aid to the needy, displaced and refugees through relief convoys and campaigns, implementing vital projects, combating diseases and conducting operations, the paper said. Such operations include the separation of Siamese twins that have achieved unprecedented success over three decades, in which 117 cases of Siamese twins from 22 countries around the world were studied, while 49 operations were conducted, the paper added. The 50th operation, which will be conducted today for the Yemeni parasitic twin, in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the paper further added. These great efforts and the distinguished experience in separating twins and the rapid response to conducting operations for the needy from all over the world reinforced the correct concept of Islam and its humanitarian message based on the Kingdom’s approach and its noble values, the paper conducted. Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported in its editorial that the Saudi economy is seen as one of the strongest economies in the world as a member of the G20, in addition to its various oil and non-oil activities. The Saudi economy also keeps pace with all the changes and concepts that the global economy is witnessing, as it is already moving strongly towards the concepts of the digital economy, the paper said. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is working successfully to develop the components of the national economy, as the convening of the first Saudi Forum for the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) in Saudi Arabia comes within a great activities and a whole slew of projects and initiatives in this vital and strategic sector the paper added. The first Saudi forum, which is organized by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in cooperation with the World Economic Forum, comes within goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which creates the real future of the country, the paper further added. The convening of this global forum in Riyadh under patronizing of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and his Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has reflected the wise leadership's interest in the 4IR areas, artificial intelligence and technology developments, building the digital cities of the future, keeping abreast of all developments in this field, in addition to paying attention to the 4IR technologies and harnessing them, in order to achieve the goals of comprehensive sustainable development, the paper concluded. -- SPA 08:44 LOCAL TIME 05:44 GMT 0008 www.spa.gov.sa/w1594026
