Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Makes Great Progress in Countering Terrorism

Riyadh, September 10, 2021, SPA -- The Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has unprecedented global experience in countering terrorism. The Saudi experience was not limited to countering terrorism locally, but it has made great progress in this field regionally and internationally, the paper wrote. Saudi Arabia has permanent and continuous cooperation with all concerned countries through exchanging information that saved thousands of lives in Saudi Arabia and other countries of the world, the paper added. Saudi Arabia has been internationally recognized as one of the topped countries in countering terrorism, as some advanced countries have adopted the Saudi experience in countering terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the paper further added. Al-Yaum Newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has honored to serving the Two Holy Mosques, Pilgrims and Umrah performers since its establishment until this prosperous era, being led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and HRH Crown Prince. Saudi Arabia exerted great efforts in protecting the pilgrims and preserving their safety during the novel Coronavirus pandemic, the unprecedented crisis in modern history. In this regard, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced raising the daily capacity to 70,000 Umrah performers per day, indicating implementing all the precautionary preventive measures, in coordination with the competent authorities.
