Riyadh, May 29, 2020, SPA -- In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will organize, next Tuesday, in collaboration with the United Nations (UN) a virtual conference for Yemen's Donors 2020, to raise the awareness of the humanitarian crisis, in Yemen, and declare fiscal pledges to meet the basic needs there. KSA is calling all donor nations to move fast and back up efforts exerted to make such a great humanitarian conference a success and to take the side of Yemen and its noble people. The gathering for international donors and relief agencies will be virtually launched here, at 04:00 pm, local mean time and will be transmitted online via the following links: (http://webtv.un.org) and (https://ksrelief.org/live.) Opening speech will be delivered by the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) while the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's speech will be delivered by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Following the gathering, a press conference will be held for the media, where the Advisor, at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah and Mark Lowcock, the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, will take part, while moderator of the conference will be Melissa Ruth Fleming, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications.
