Berlin, Dhu-AlQa'dah 06, 1437, August 09, 2016, SPA -- Federal Republic of Germany has praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's cooperation with regard to the ongoing investigations of the terrorist acts that have occurred recently in the German state of Bavaria. In a statement, German Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Sawsan Chebli confirmed that Germany appreciates the cooperation of the government of the Kingdom in the disclosure of the circumstances of the terrorist acts that have occurred recently in Germany. She said that Germany and other Western nations are working with the kingdom on an ongoing basis in the fight against terrorism. The spokeswoman explained that the information obtained by the German security authorities from their counterparts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had a big role in protecting Germany from terrorist acts that were about to take place in the last period.
