Kano, Nigeria, Shawwal 07, 1436, July 23, 2015, SPA -- At least 30 people have been killed and more than 100 others injured by explosions at two bus stations in north-eastern Nigeria, the Red Cross said Thursday, according to dpa. The explosions occurred in Gombe, the capital of Gombe State, late Wednesday evening. They are the latest in a string of attacks that have caused more than 430 deaths this month alone. "The bomb explosion claimed no fewer than 30 lives, while 105 other persons sustained injuries and were taken to the teaching hospital in Gombe for treatment," Red Cross official Abubakar Yakubu told the Nigerian news agency. The death toll is likely to rise significantly, witnesses said. --SPA 13:00 LOCAL TIME 10:00 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
